On July 1st-2nd, an important Italian / Russian meeting was held at the Sapienza University of Rome regarding the practical implementation of energy saving, resource conservation and waste recycling in the process industry.
Important experts of the sector took part in the event: V. P. Meshalkin (D. Mendeleyev University of chemical technology of Russia), V. Dovì (Università di Genova), A. O. Terent'ev (N. D. Zelinsky Institute of Organic Chemistry RAS), A. R. Gazizyanovich (FSBEI HE Bashkir state University), I. S. Shiryaev (Ambasciata della Federazione Russa nella Repubblica Italiana), K. V. Grigorovich (A. A. Baikov Institute of metallurgy and material sceince).
Furthermore, Prof. Pagnanelli and Dott.ssa Moscardini explained the importance of developing a process that is aimed at the recovery and recycling of batteries through a technically feasible and economical advantages process as the one which is being demonstrated thanks to the Life Libat project.
